Hotel Bossert

Hotel Bossert

Project Overview:

A Brooklyn Heights landmark since its opening in 1909, the 200,000-square-foot Bossert Hotel spent decades in disrepair before being purchased and painstakingly restored by the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society of New York. Developers David Bistricer and Joseph Chetrit bought the building in 2012, bringing in Australian firm Woods Bagot to revive and update its former opulence. The result is a 280-room boutique hotel that recaptures the luxury of the original. Horsepower was excited to bring its renovation expertise to the project, which connects Brooklyn Heights’ elegant past to its fast-moving future.
