Todd English Food Hall at the Plaza Hotel

Project Overview:

The Plaza Hotel, designed by Henry Janeway Hardenbergh and completed in 1907, is synonymous with old New York. Added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1988, it has changed hands a number of times. El Ad Properties, which acquired the hotel in 2004, enlisted Horsepower’s help in creating a 9,500-square-foot food hall masterminded by renowned chef Todd English. Designed by architect Jeffrey Beers, the food hall offers selections from 8 world cuisines; we helped implement the lighting schemes that set each area apart.
