The Espoir

Project Overview:

Fusing two mid-rise buildings at 140 and 156 Hope Street in the heart of Williamsburg, the Rabsky Group’s Espoir is an early pioneer of the luxury rental model that came to define the area. Designed by Cookfox Architects and completed in 2009, it comprises 105 units totaling 37,600 square feet. Horsepower was responsible for the building’s original wiring, including specialized schemes for the gymnasium and garage, as well as its fire and alarm systems.

Project Description:

The project required the full installation of electric, fire alarm, security systems and low-voltage contracting work that was done from the ground up. The gymnasium facility required the installation of hi-tech LED lighting and the recreational area required a sophisticated track lighting package as well.
