60 Water Street

Project Overview:

Horsepower worked with Two Trees Development to wire this glass-clad apartment tower beside to the Brooklyn Bridge. The 425,000 square-foot tower hosts 290 residential units, 20% of which are designated affordable housing, and a low-input green roof deck. Closer to street level, the building is home to the 300-seat Dock Street School for STEAM Studies. This public middle school, which opened in Fall 2017, is part of the project’s ongoing effort to promote equitable growth in its DUMBO neighborhood.
