200 East 95th St

Project Overview:

200 East 95th St, now known as “the Kent,” samples New York’s Art Deco tradition. The 23-story brick and limestone tower, designed for Extell by architects Beyer Blinder Belle, sweeps powerfully upward before culminating in a strategically lit “crown,” an homage to the visionary skyscrapers of the 1930s and 40s. The architects have also updated its Deco roots, using contemporary engineering to create corner windows that would have been structurally impossible 60 years ago. We were proud to perform the electrical installation on this mixture of old and new.
